While our thoughts and best wishes are with those affected,
smoke and haze has resulted in zero observing opportunities these last few weeks.
So, I have taken my first steps into a new diversion.
Thanks to Starfire, I have built a Saturn V Airfix kit.
At 63 a steady hand I do not possess, so please forgive the paint job.
Nonetheless, I am quite pleased with this effort as a complete novice.
The model is 77cm tall.
And breaks down to the various stages of flight including the LEM.
