Nice effort to get both in the same frame Tony. Well done. Indeed two very different surface brightness targets. M42 alone is challenging with the trap vs the outer nebulosity. Then throw into the mix the brightness of the Flame vs the gradually fading Ha cloud above the Horsehead and it makes this image quite a challenge. An impressive feat
