Buying from alibaba?
I'm thinking of buying an industrial sewing machine and the cost on alibaba looks to be around AU$1200 (plus shipping). Does anyone here have any experience importing largish items from alibaba, and can offer any advice?
So far it's been suggested that I buy FOB and get a customs broker here to organise the shipping, due to paperwork and various costs involved. It's a just a bit (!) different than buying via ebay.
