Thanks Allan, have had a rework of the whole thing. I don't use PS but manage to get a better result in Pixinsight i think.

Thanks Mike, blending the Ha introduced a lot of noise which was difficult to tackle, but I'm pleased wit this version. So many cool little galaxies in the background!

I'm guessing the lack of blue is related to the blending of the Ha data. How did you go about mixing the Ha in? Not sure I can offer much advice there, since I've only done it a couple of times, but I'm sure others with more experience can chime in on that.

I wouldn't know where to start with a mosaic! I used PixelMath in Pixinsight, and a tutorial from Harrys Astroshed. worked really well, actually surprised me!
