Michael, what do you call a wobbly stand?
I use my ED80 on an EQ1
(some people shudder) and track with the little battery powered motor box
(more people shudder). The EQ1 and motor box is a total of $170!!! I am happy with the results from this set-up so far.
For such a despised set-up for astrophotography I am getting fairly good results.
