I was wondering what people usually toted their things around in when going on field trips. I have, in my really short time in the hobby, already collected a small pile of things that I'd really have to remember to bring along.
I went down to the local Bunnings and bought a cheap aluminium case and fiddled a bit with it. I now have my little 18AH battery (does a whole night of viewing, and will then recharge overnight from 240v inverter off our isolated auxilliary car battery) hidden away, with it being able to be charged and plugged-into by two scew-in 12v plugs on the outside of the case. A simple and neat little afternoon project
