Northern Targets

Hi All

Following in the spirit of of several others on here who have taken some fine images of targets that are low in the north for us I had a chance to try and capture some on the weekend despite the very strong westerly winds during Saturday that thankfully abated during the night.
M33 , the Triangulum Galaxy and NGC1499, the California Nebula.
ED80 & 0.8 Reducer / Flattener
Modded Canon 450D Sensor temp from 8 to 12 deg. ( was a cool night with the wind chill ).
HEQ5, Guided in PHD, 80mm F5 guide scope

Taken from a dark site NW of Goulburn. Each image a combination of 120 & 180 sec. subs of about 80 mins total each.

Also did M31, Andromeda Galaxy, but it came out very noisy.
