I stopped using an aerosol blower and just use an ordinary rocket blower to get stuff off first.

I have used dozens of boxes of plain white Kleenex (name brand only) to clean optics over the years. Routine is the same, blast with dust off (to remove any grit) one wipe with
isopropyl (or acetone) quickly followed by a wipe with a dry tissue. Remove debris with dust off. Never got a sleek.
After using just a handful of Kimwipes, using the above, I was shocked to see a sleek. Thought it might be a "one off" but after a second event (and fresh box of Kimwipes) concluded it was systemic....and forever banned them from my touching my optical gear.
But as I said, others can make their own choices.
