I then used Topaz Detail, Micro Contrast I set to Default on a new Layer and then set that Layer to 67% so only 67% of the effect was active and saved it as the 2nd JPG here.
Hope you can see the subtle difference.

Thanks for that. I can see it gives a little boost to the stars and other areas. Will play with the settings.
