Final M17 Swan Nebula for this year

My final image of M17 this year on a clear Sydney night
Bortle 8 sky
6” f6 Bintel newt on a HEQ5 mount
60 x 2 minute dithered guided subs
20 x darks
Canon 600D with Baader coma corrector
No filters
PHD2 guiding ( 1.20 to 1.30 arc sec error ) I noticed guiding improved ( RA smoother )as M17 descended in the west which contrary to previous experiences. The rebalancing of the mount with a new counterweight extension rod may have something to do with it ?
