I still can NOT bring myself to leave a scope or mount out, no matter how good the cover. It's either inside under my roof, or one day, under an observatory roof.
Not worried so much about water as I am about the 2 legged mongrel...
Besides, carrying a mount and scope in and out is fortitude and strength building
