FOR SALE: Burgess BV125 Binoviewer - SOLD

Burgess BV125 model C Binoviewer

Features:
  • Fully multi-coated prisms - unlike some other binoviewers that look identical externally.
  • Helical focuser built in to each eyepiece holder.
  • 1.9x corrector (OCA) included to reduce focuser in-travel: needed for most Newtonians.
  • Can be used with or without OCA in SCTs and Maks.
  • Plenty of clear aperture: no noticeable vignetting with 19mm Panoptics or 25mm Plossls.
  • One pair of 20-25mm eyepieces can accommodate all types of objects, by using OCA and/or barlow to obtain different powers. See this thread for details.

Please note:
  • With the included OCA there is sufficient focuser travel for GSO 8" Dobs, but not for 10 and 12" GSO Dobs. For these scopes a long barlow or a different OCA will be required to reach focus.
  • Right hand side barrel is a tight fit for 1.25" eyepieces. Some eyepieces slide in easily (e.g., GSO plossls), while others are a very snug (e.g., 19mm Panoptic, Antares Elite), which can make it inconvenient to change eyepieces in the field.
  • I also have pair of excellent 25mm Antares Elite 5-element Plossls for sale for an absolute bargain price with binoviewer purchase.

$150 including postage in Australia

Thanks for looking.
