This is Bernes 149, a reflection nebula within the Lupus 3 dust cloud lying between the constellations of Lupus and Scorpius. Lupus 3 is a star forming region with conditions thought to be similar to where our sun formed.
I found this very difficult to capture because it was very faint and for some reason there were significant gradients across the subs (especially blue). I also had difficulty calibrating with flats and then the processing was very challenging. Happy with the framing though.
