Giving an SCT the Steampunk treatment!

After giving an old 6" refractor the Steampunk treatment, I had to continue with the Steampunk odyssey with other telescopes

Next was my SCT on an older set of forks, with a DIY wedge.

As with the refractor, paramount to this project is it only add an aesthetic enhancement to the scope and not impede its performance.

This project took a bit longer. The woodwork was much more intricate, and the design of the components needed more thought. But I'm pretty happy with the result.

Should attract the attention of the Spooks if I set up in the City!

Alex.
