current epoch
Universe as we see it, diameter around 100 billion light years
next epoch
Andromeda and milky way collide, this causes most free hydrogen to be
consumed in a burst of star formation of hot blue stars which soon burn
out.
next epoch
Expansion of the universe leaves only the gravitationally bound local
group as the visible universe.
next epoch
Last star in the local group becomes a red dwarf. Leaving only cold
matter, red dwarfs and black holes.
next epoch
Red dwarfs consume all there low mass elements and become blue
dwarfs
next epoch
Last blue dwarf sputters out leaving only black holes and cold matter
next epoch
Black holes evaporate leaving only cold matter
next epoch
Last proton of cold matter decays leaving only photons
next epoch
Due to continued expansion of the universe, each photon is contained
within its own visible universe

At this point every massless photon is contained within its own visible universe. With nothing to relate to itself, the concept of motion and time is essentially irrelevant as is mass.

Maybe then each photon starts its own big bang, anyway who knows...

Cheers
