Last night, I used Antares as a target to set up and align my system whilst troubleshooting a few problems.
Although the live, on-screen image of Antares appeared multi-lobed, displaying a reasonable amount of scintillation, Autostakkert!3 and Registax managed to resolve the diffraction rings around the primary with a hint of a diffraction ring around the dimmer secondary.
This is 500 frames from a 1,000 frame AVI.
