Very good result from what I consider minimum aperture for planetary imaging.
The seeing was dominated by small convection cells that evening and a small aperture had the advantage of looking through far fewer cells than a 16" aperture. It was clear to me at the time that a 12" aperture would have outperformed my 16" that night.
