I have been corresponding with Peter Read of SDM about a 20" f/4.5. It would only be 7' 2" to the EP at zenith, compared with 8' to the EP at zenith at f/5. My concern is coma, and whether at f/4.5 I will be stuck with having to use a Paracorr, which will just add lots more glass to the optical path.
Either way, it will be 20" aperture, and everything I have heard about Peter Read's scopes has been very positive, so I plan to order from him.
