Paul - thanks I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates unnecessary man made light pollution
Karl - using a Baader coma corrector does soften your stars and spikes lightly, before I used one they use to be pin point sharp. Also during processing many modules reduce your spikes a little bit eg: Wipe , Decon , Magic shrink and tighten. Also a heavy de noise around 8 to 10 pixels at the end reduces them a bit plus read noise reduction as well
