I’m lucky I guess , I bought a holiday home 3 years ago 7km this side of Ulladulla which coincided with my retirement and starting Astronomy.Its our little piece of heaven, somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle.With Bortle 3 to 4 skies its truly incredible on a clear night as I enjoy both visual astronomy and AP ( still only a beginner though , never to late to start )
Well worth thinking about a weekender especially at your level !

Thanks gentlemen. I guess the image holds up reasonably well even when compared to those taken from exceptional sites. I managed another hour of L data in good seeing plus the same in H-alpha last night....will see how that turns out.
