Sounds a fair bit worse that what it's like here at my flat. What I get to play with is about 35 degrees of alt, and about 60 degrees az.

When you have a limited available field of view, and you're seeing the same stuff you saw the previous nights, yeah, it can become disheartening and dull, when you're hoping to see something new and interesting.
I really hope you can find something to rekindle your enjoyment in astronomy, Alex.
