Maybe it's just my eyes after looking at my own wonky stars of late, but are the stars on M8 a touch elongated? Might be able to do some wizardry with motion blur PSF deconvolution, or morphological transformation in PixInsight if you're a convert

Yes my stars are always elongated.
Hopefully they'll round up when I add more subs. I recall a little bit of wind during this one.
