Still running one XP machine and one Vista (gulp) machine. They do NOT stop working once the updates/support stops. Just keep using them! Much ado about nothing.
My astro imaging computer runs Win7. Never connected to the internet, so never updates etc, so it'll run till the machine itself dies.
