ASI094 First Light: Eta Carina

With a great weekend up in Coolah last new moon I decided it would be a good time to see the first light of the ASI094 I bought off a fellow IIS member late last year. Didn't use a UV/IR filter and was curious as to whether it would be noticeable. Let me tell you... It is! Star bloat is a real thing

With just shy of 4 hours of exposure under the pristinely dark skies of Coolah I don't think I'd need any more exposure to make any difference to SNR. The background is smooth without any noise reduction.

I do have some tilt towards the bottom right corner that I do plan on addressing with the tilt adapter on the ASI094 but I'm awaiting on some adapters from Joshua before I can do that.
