Yes I’m a beginner, only been imaging for 18 months. Started with visual astronomy in 2016, used the iPhone in my old 10” dob, then progressed to a 6” f6 newt on HEQ5 with DSLR and remote shutter button standing next to the mount for a year, now fully set up with my 8” f5 and EQ6-R Mount and all the necessary Astro software
