Televue 32mm Plossl First Light
I had my new TV 32mm Plossl today, and got to put some star light through it tonight. Great views of various DSO's including NGC3766, NGC3293, M4, M62, M19, M9, M22 (huge glob), Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae.
Sharp stars across the field (didn't measure it tonight) - the sky appeared as black felt, even in polluted Newcastle - I found the view improved as I dark adapted - this scope and EP give an exit pupil of about 5.3mm, and the secondary smudge was noticed at times. This lessened as I dark adapted.
Dark site initiation this weekend.....
Overall - great EP - tonight I found the views through the 20mm more comfortable.
