Being a fellow rocklifter (stonemason), but not in the league that you are, how's your back?? I crushed a disc last year and i thought that was it, but its slowly got better and now i use a machine for the the 50kg+ ones.
Also i miss the clear skies of southern yorke peninsula. Even when burn off time comes the water surrounding the block seemed to keep the skies clear. Might try to get to the block at easter.
Great website, you'll be on 4 million soon..

Hi Andy

Yeah well been doing this game for a few years now I guess, so bound to find my ugly mug pop up occasionally That area of SA must have been nice for astro endeavours!

Re the stone lifting, although I probably lifted much less frequently than you have ...no I have no residual problems from my years of heavy stone lifting (been retired for coming up to 15 years now). I was always careful to use progressive overload and correct lifting technique and thus just kept getting stronger and stronger without injury (also resisted the temptation to take drugs, a big factor!), until at my peak in 2001, I could actually shoulder this 175kg stone 6 times in 90sec
