SBIG ST4000XCM with adaptive optics

When it came out this was a $4500 camera, so it certainly has quality built into it. With the sef-guiding chip, there's no need for an off-axis guider, and the AO7 adaptive optics smooths out any mount antics without having to send pulses to the mount. It's a lot easier to move a tiny mirror rather than to nudge a big telescope.

Aparrently if you have an SBIG guide scope, the AO7 can work with the input from the guide scope and you can put other cameras of your choice behind the adaptive optics (I checked with SBIG).

It comes with all cables and some spares, dessicant, power, manual & case.

More Information can be found here; http://www.company7.com/library/sbig..._st4000xcm.htm

Looking for $500.
