I spent some time in PNG with the only option for milk in the area being Long life. I'll give you that it's an advancement but you can keep it. Much prefer the real stuff.
I'll add to the list of things:
Cars, as in the improvements to features that really matter - brake systems, power steering, A/C
etc.
Because of the industry I work in, the changes in computers have been a huge and in general make things so much better than the old days. Not only hardware of course, but software too. So many clunky things I needed to deal with in the past - no longer needed and I can move on to more important aspects of what I am trying to do.
