Please let us know how it goes.
Also maybe run the belt to the large focuser knob as it should have more purchase.
I am thinking there may be slippage and ways to overcome such an issue..glueing wet and dry paper around the knobs is all I can think of...
But it would be so good to know how it goes for you.
I cant work out a satisfactory way to attact the motor yet so I like your approach.
