Coiled cables
Hi All,
I want to make up a remote control for my camera, and somewhere I have read that it is possible to make coiled cable (similar to that on phones etc), by wrapping the cable around a piece of dowelling, and baking it, heating it, or boiling it etc, to set the coil on the cable. It may have been on this Forum, or it may have been elsewhere, but wherever it is, I can't find it. Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this please?
