Thanks Martin, I was already old when I left film AP behind, and struggled with computers, and struggled even harder with the myriad software.
In light of that I stuck to unguided JPEGs, no separate darks, flats, or bias, or
dithering[although indifferent PA did that for me as the target moved slowly across the screen between subs] and stacking and very basic processing in DSS, no PS , Pixinsight, or other processing software. Because of this I have been stuck in the mud at the bottom of the beginners' pond for almost a
decade, but I have enjoyed newbies progressing around me, and hope that I have contributed in some small way to some of their success.
