Hi John, I looked through your previous posts and it looks like you have a c9.25 on an ASGT mount and the small refractor. If you're serious about ccd, why not avoid buying the new mediocre mount and ota and put the money towards a higher quality mount. You could keep an eye out for a Tak, Losmandy, Vixen etc on Astromart. Once you have the good mount and your technique is good with the refactor, load up the c9.25.
Qualification: I am very inexperienced at taking astrophotos, but experienced enough to know that it's a pain in the rear if you can't any one of a number of parameters to come together and it all starts with the mount.
