the details are in the article I've sent to Mike. All up it cost me $14.40 for the PVC pipe (enough to make 2 sets
) and $8.60 for a can of flat black spray paint (not sure how many sets that'll do
). I already had the adhesive velcro strip.
I did think about mailing tubes after I bought the PVC pipe, so that's as far as that idea got!
If it's the right size it'll work, but I'm happy with the PVC - they are definitely robust and dew proof! ... and they look the part

I haven't decided what to do with the spare PVC pipe yet. I don't have a use for it, but mailing it to someone else to use is probably more expensive than buying some.
