I bought the 72mm for three reasons

1. It comes with no accessories (diagonal, finder, eyepieces) which are pointless if you already have them, or if this is a first scope, it saves money and allows you to buy what you want not what you are given and charged for.

2. I am not a bird watcher but sometimes we go to nature reserves and I wanted a decent scope to allow this. It is great and portable.

3. Fast and simple to use saves getting my larger scopes out and with a baader zoom it can always be in the car

(oh and superb reviews)

I got the ZS66 free when I bought a starlight express camera it was a nice scope, sold a long time back
