Hi Glen, It is difficult to get consistently round stars at much more than 30 secs @ 200mm focal length with the little Nano Tracker[ I have to use a compass and inclinometer for PA], depending upon my PA accuracy on any given night. I'm not surprised that the flame shows up well, its nowhere
near as far into the red as the horsey. Being restricted to fairly short subs
I usually use faster lenses around f/2-f/2.8, but this one is slow at f/5.6
at 200mm, so I upped the ISO. I normally shoot at 1600 which is the so called sweet spot for the 600D. It was made worse last night with the ambient being 18 degs.
