Hi Logan. You could try open cluster M46 in Puppis. The extra benefit is the planetary nebula ngc2438 seemingly within the cluster (apparently it is a foreground object). You need averted vision to pick it, but once you see it it sticks out like you know what. My first planetary a long time ago but because of where it is still a favourite. In good position this time of year. Cheers Richard
