Just a comment:
This Vixen 80mm is the ideal candidate for a donor telescope in the PST mod.
Imagine an 80mm aperture solar scope for the price of your PST an adaptor and a Baader filter!!!
Many amateurs (myself included) have used the Vixen 80mm successfully.
It's also a very good scope in it's own right.
