Two years of Improvement

Hi Guys,
The first shot was taken using a canon 1000D on the Esprit 150mm, a year after I returned to Astronomy after a 40 Year break, in those early days, I used to use 2415 hyper sensitized film, guided by hand and eye (No Goto or auto guiding). I was amazed at how far the technology had moved in my absence.
The last shot was taken a couple of nights ago using the same Esprit 150mm APO, ZWO ASI071 camera running at -10C, and of course Pixinsight to process it. Both shots taken at light polluted Boronia Melbourne, may all those street lights get the pox and die.
Things just keep getting better and better with the advancement of technology, it really is the golden age of astronomy.

Cheers
Peter
