October's M&Ms

What else is small, brown and looks less solid at the end of a hot Canberra Spring day ....it's Mercury and Mars taken through an ETX-105 at the end of October.

Not good viewing conditions but lately its been beggars cannot be choosers with the weather being windy and often cloudy. Still, very pleased to have my first capture of Mercury

Warning!! All DSO imagers without the strongest of stomachs should now look away! This is because my next pic that I have included a quick snapshot from my Sony a6000 in windy conditions showing Mercury on the left and Jupiter on the right at the head of Scorpious on 27 October near my home as I thought their placement looked neat, ....but then I am easily pleased in DSO matters.
