I bought this for my kid to get him started on astronomy, but he prefers looking through my FLT triplet
Anyway, it's a nice grab and go, with goto Audiostar handset.
102mm f7.8 = 800mm (not to be confused with the newer f6.5 model)
Tripod: not that solid, but it's a very light weight OTA.
OTA: metal tube but plastic on just about all else, but does its job. CA is noticeable on moon, but not bad on Jupiter. Stars snap into focus easily.
Other things to note: missing lens cap, you can use a shower cap. Battery is dead on the red dot finder.
