Hi, keen to get the Evostar ED72, however does anyone know how it compares to the standard Synta ED 80 doublet with the FPL-53 glass ? is the CA reduction similar and is the 8 mm less aperture that noticeable ?.
There is 'speculation' the new Evostar series uses the new FPL-55 glass which has similar properties to FPL-53 but costs 70% less to manufacture.
