I was interested in an IEQ45 a while ago - techically it looks good from the perspective of the diameter of the worm wheels - was but decided against it because of lack of support here. Any issue and the cost of sending it back Is prohibitive. Basically what you may end up with is a useless pile of metal.

Secondly I’m not enamoured of the way the worm is engaged on the worm wheel, it’s a recipe for disaster ie teeth chewed off.

Instead I went with the AZEQ6 instead, as it has good local support and it was the highest payload version of the EQ6, since my scope is not light and has a very long focal length.

The AZEQ6 turned out to be fine for my scope (Santel MK91). Any of the EQ6 mounts will take yours just fine.
