I won't be complaining about rain any time soon. After the year we've had and with the state 100% drought-declared I'm happy to listen to the rain for a while yet. It's just a pity (though predictable) that the rain is mostly confined to the coast. The inland could use another 100mm real soon.
The good and bad, as Marc implied, is the lawn. It was nearly dead and looked horrible - hadn't needed mowing since May. Now it's green and lush but instead of a Friday arvo beverage it will have to be a Friday arvo mow.
