Marc here we cannibalised the wheels from anything we had - typically prams or scooters - to assemble something that served the same purpose but on the pavement - usual obstacles being trees, bumps in the pavement etc. usual result being that you speared into either a fence or a parked car, or skittled any pedestrians too slow to get out of the way.
