NGC6357_Ha

NGC6357, also known as the 'Crab Nebula' (it does actually look like a crab) is a diffuse nebula in the constellation of Sagittarius. This image is from the Ha data captured as part of a narrowband set of Ha, OIII and SII. The Ha image makes for a wonderful display on its own so I have published it separately prior to attacking the full SHO processing.

Edit: Ive just realised that the correct generic name is “Lobster Nebula”. Anyway, it definitely looks like a crustacean of sorts ...
