As it turns out, the scope I have in mind for this mount is too big for it - it is heavier than the load rating of 25lbs this mount has! BUGGER!
I've been looking forward to one of these mounts for so long, and I fall short just when one pops up within touch!
For what it's worth, these Evo mounts are really very good. They make use of bronze gears, not plastic like the SE mounts. Who ever is looking for a very good alt-az mount with go-to capability, this mount won't disappoint. Just note that it is best for SCTs, Maks and short refractors.
