They dont just come from different numbers, they actually spoof the originating number. We got one via text recently purporting to be from Auspost about a "Problem with your delivery, click here to fix" type of guff from the number we actually do get delivery text messages from Auspost on.
Funny enough we got that on the same day I was listening to the radio and they were talking about people impersonating accountants etc in the same way (Via phone rather than text) and one person rang in to say they got a missed call and voicemail phishing attempt from "You accountant's office" from the phone number of their accountant, while they were actually talking to them on the same number.
