I'm sure I've seen Damien Peachs' Pickering Scale before as I have browsed his website and images a few times. Going by the scale, most times around here the seeing is between 4 & 6 and can only remember a few times when it got to 8 and that never seems to coincide with prime planet times, of course.
Resolving the small craterlets on the floor of Plato is always pleasing. Haven't found their measurements yet but I'm guessing about 3 to 4 kms diameter. Always a mind twister when being able to see something that small from 340,000 kms away in a modest scope and camera.
Anyway planet season is coming to a close so it's back to dso imaging and observing and there is always lunar of course, catching features under differing angles of illumination is fun.
