Hi, i currently own an undriven eq5 mount and until i can save for something decent i thought i would try to motorise it.
i was given a hand contoller that was part of an RA kit for the eq5.
I was looking to buy a cheap but fairly powerful stepper motor and use this controller with it.
My electronics experience is lets say minimal
My question is are they compatable straight off, or do i need other electronic components to use this setup?
gears and the like i am ok with, its just electronics
Please keep any answers simple for me, jargon don't compute
